De Nederlandstalige versie van deze pagina
StealTag is programmed using Borland Pascal 7.01 and appears to give a runtime-error on fast PCs (Pentium II and alike). I received a patch from a StealTag-user, but didn't have to time to test it...I'm still lacking spare time :-(
I will try to release a new version of StealTag before the end of the year. Further on I would like to rewrite the source code (only the look of it, to make it a bit structured instead of the "spaghetti-code" it has become because of the quick-fixes in the past) and release the code.
Anybody interested in any of this can contact me at the address below. If you send me some mail I'll let you know once there is further news.
STEALTAG is freeware. You may feel free to use it and pass it along, you just aren't allowed to alter it in any way or to charge money for it.
Also I can't be held responsible for ANY effects which you might get from using this program, so if your cat starts to hate you or your computer blows up, don't blame me.
Also, please note that English isn't my first language so ignore any spelling errors...
If you like the program very much and would like to share that with me, and also if you would like to tell me something about it which you like or don't like you can contact me by sending a postcard, preferable with some local sights ;-) My address is:
Hello Fred, greetings from... |

But feel free not to sent a card and still use this program.
While editing the tagline, you can try these keys which should behave in a consistent and maybe even an expected manner:
BackSpace, Delete, Escape, Enter, Home, End, Links, Rechts, Ctrl+links, Ctrl+rechts, Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3
Installation notes:
Place a key-assignment in your goldkeys.cfg; something like: F11 ExternUtil08 ; Adopt tagline
Then in your GoldEd.cfg add a line like:
EXTERNUTIL 8 -keepctrl C:\FD\GE\StealTag.exe @file C:\FD\GE\TagFile.txt
Note the matching 8, then the name of the program, then the name of the GoldEd message file and finally the name of the taglines file.
Finally: Lets all ask Odinn to enhance the tagline-feature so that taglines can contain comment lines too ;-)
